- Driver Age & Licence:
- Rented vehicle must be driven only by the designated driver whose name is in the rental agreement. However, additional driver can be added with prior approval at an extra cost
- Driver should be minimum 25 years old
- Minimum 6 months old valid UAE driving license required (If UAE license that is less than six months old, valid home country license (minimum 1 Year old will be required)
- Tourist or visit visa holders can drive a rent-a-car with an international driving license supported by a home country license which is more than 1 year old. (Please refer RTA website for a list of nationalities allowed to drive in Dubai with home country license)
- Delivery or Collection, Fuel & Mileage:
- Customer can collect vehicles from our locations all over UAE without any additional charges
- Delivery or collection charges within Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah city limits will be charged at 
50 during office hours and 75 after office hours or holidays
- Difference in fuel level will be charged as per the market rate
- Mentioned rental rate is based on a maximum mileage of 200 km’s per day. Extra mileage will be charged at 25 Fills to 75 Fills depending on the vehicle model rented. Please call the agency for more information
- Salik, traffic fines and insurance claims:
- Traffic fines incurred during the rental period should be borne by the customer. A service charge of 45 will be charged for each traffic fine apart from the Knowledge Dirham fee of 20 which is applicable to Dubai RTA
- All vehicles are provided with SALIK (toll crossing) tags. Salik charges will be levied at 5 per crossing
- Customer’s responsibility to get the vehicle released in the event of a confiscation by Traffic police due to any traffic law violation whilst under his/her possession. Car rent during confiscation period and other related charges should be borne by the customer
- In case of accidents or damages, a valid police report is mandatory for insurance claim as per UAE law (including damages whilst the vehicle was stationary)
- All accidents must be reported to Car Fare Rent A Car on +97148855157 or +971501002119 (24 hours) immediately after a police report
- Insurance excess ( 1000 to 2500 depending on vehicle model and category) should be paid by the customer
- Optional CDW (Collision damage waiver) and PAI (Personal Accident Insurance) available for an additional charge. Please inform merchant if you are interested at the time of booking
- Alcohol Consumption, Smoking & Cleanliness:
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited by law. Any accidents occurring as a result of consumption of alcohol or drugs will not be covered by insurance; The driver will be legally responsible to make full payments towards any damages or the cost of the vehicle, in case of total loss of the vehicle
- Smoking is prohibited on all our cars. Cigarette odour in the car or burns/ holes in the seats will ensue 1000 re-upholstery charges
- Keeping the car interior/ exterior clean is the responsibility of the customer
- Service and Registration Renewal:
- It is the customer’s responsibility to book & bring the vehicle for periodic service as per the kilometre reading mentioned on the windscreen (Top- left)
- Customer should make the vehicle available for registration renewal as per the date mentioned in the registration card
- Car Fare will change the tyres every 50,000 kilometres; In case of any tyre damages within this interval, customer will be charged for the repair or cost of tyre with replacement charges as tyres are not covered by the insurance
- Credit Card Pre-authorisation:
- 1000 to 2500 depends on the category of vehicle will be charged upfront from the credit card which will be renewed every 15 days
- Additionally, a pre-authorization of 1000 will be charged at the time of hiring the vehicle as the traffic fines are often intimated later by the RTA
