- Oman Visas:
We recommend Oman visa is applied for in advance at the consulate in Dubai/Abu Dhabi. Please note the consulate usually stops accepting visa applications 3-4 working days prior to major public holidays due to applications volume rush. Hence, we recommend applying for your visas ASAP.
Visa on Arrival is issued on selective basis depending on profession on UAE Resident Visas. Only senior level professions as printed on the UAE Residence Visa (manager/director/partner/investor/Engineer/Doctor/Owner/Lawyer etc.) will receive visa on arrival (http://www.rop.gov.om/english/dg_pr_visas_agcc.aspfor list of permitted professions). All other professions MUST apply for visa in advance. If the sponsor is entitled to visa on arrival, then his/her dependents (spouse and children) on his/her sponsorship automatically avail visa on arrival if arriving and departing together on the same flights. Students on University/School sponsorship must pre-apply for their visa at the Oman Consulate and will not receive a visa on arrival, even if traveling with their parents. Wife on company's sponsorship, instead of Husband's sponsorship, will only get visa on arrival if holding senior professions as mentioned above. There is no refund in case passengers are denied boarding for not being in possession of the required visas.
